data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Based on application of research results, the presented project aims to examine in detail the issue of hereditary cancer caused by Lynch syndrome and to investigate into the presumed genetic background of the higher prevalence of selected types of cancer in the Slovak population. This should lead to higher efficiency in preventing the development of colorectal cancer or possibly other cancers associated with Lynch syndrome, resulting in an overall improvement in the health of incidence of colorectal cancer (CRC) in Slovakia, the introduction of modern non-invasive screening tests and defining of appropriate screening in our population will <strong>reduce the incidence and mortality of CRC and other Lynch-associated cancers, increase the quality of life and will also reduce sickness absence as well as curtail treatment expenditures nationwide.<\/strong><br \/>The activities will lead to issuing of 30 publications prepared within the scope of the
